Honoring Your Stories
This holiday season, I want to celebrate our community. This year was filled with meaningful moments—creating wedding rings that mark the start of forever, a ring honoring new life, and matching charms for a mother and daughter to keep each other close.
Your stories are the heart of what I do. Sitting down with you to design a piece that becomes part of your legacy is the most rewarding part of Sister Sister. These aren’t just pieces of jewelry—they’re lasting memories, crafted to honor the people and moments that mean the most.
Thank you for letting me be part of your stories. It’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted.
Love,
Lisa (Sister Sister’s Founder & Designer)
Western Inspired Wedding Ring
Mikhayla wanted to crown her engagement ring with something that incorporated her story. She told me that ever since she was little she fell in love with horses and competing in rodeos. She’s incorporated that love into her lifestyle and now into her custom designed 14k white gold turquoise wedding band.
Interconnected Stories
It’s always my hope that the stories that inspire our designs will resonate with you. The Jude, which joined our collection this year, was inspired by Jude Maboné a six-time heart attack survivor, heart health advocate and former Miss DC. When Donna won a ring at an American Heart Association event, she let me know she too had a heart condition. Cue all the feels 🥹
Initial Earrings
These sweet initial studs are custom made for a mama to celebrate her littles. Jenn got the idea when her longtime friend Delilah posted about her custom earrings. And that to me is the best part – two friends wearing matching earrings that are tailored to celebrate each of their lives.
Unique Mother + Daughter Necklaces
A mama stumbled upon her daughter’s sketch of a book charm. Her daughter drew it for her art class where they submitted the drawings to a local jewelry store that was running a contest. Her drawing included the following note: “I did a book charm because as a little girl my mom always used to read me stories. She has been a librarian for many years. Books have always been a big part of my mom and my life.”
A Ring of Hope
Brenna trusted me with her story of infertility and together we worked on a design to symbolize her journey to motherhood. Together, we created a sprouting seedling ring with a pearl that represents the emergence of new life from a place of struggle and hope. Brenna and her husband welcomed their long-awaited baby girl this past June.
